why am I too afraid to ask?
fake a smile, fake a laugh
hold back the tears
just end it
why won’t it end?
my smiles don’t quite reach my eyes
no one notices
does anyone care?
I scream but no one hears
it has been years
what happened to me?
how did I get here?
the only way out is to find myself
but where am I?
